Our Story

How it all started...

“The beginnings of Christian Body Life Fellowship Church are rooted in God’s intervention and transformation of the life of Willie Lee Graham.  In 1989, after serving in various ministerial capacities at St Mark Missionary Baptist Church; GOD called Pastor Graham to plant a church in Vacaville, Ca. "All things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are called according to HIS purpose." Romans 8:28 was the scripture GOD breathed upon Pastor Graham and CBLF. In hindsight it is easy to see the Hand of the Almighty guiding Pastor Graham in choosing a wife, Co-Pastor Barbara Graham, a career, education and ministerial ventures serving the community. CBLF began with 8 souls in a residential living room and through the providence of GOD it grew and began having services in Fairmont Elementary, Vacaville, CA. In 1990, CBLF had attained its 501-c3 status and shortly afterward GOD opened the doors to a church building on Elizabeth Street.  How CBLF with a handful of members was able to purchase the building remains a testament to the grace and blessings of the LORD. The favor of GOD shone on CBLF and in 2003 a larger building was made available.  Over a quarter of a million dollars was reduced from the purchase price due to GODS' intervention. Today, CBLF provides support for families in crisis through its domestic violence counseling and Supervised Visitation Care Center. Presently, other church pastors and ministries are sharing our facilities.  CBLF continues to create programs and opportunities for persons in need in our community.

Expanding the vision...

Looking back almost 33 years ago, Christian Body Life Fellowship came together with a united vision for the cause of Jesus Christ. That vision birthed a new congregation, Jesus Christ has been our reason for staying in business. Jesus has been touching, healing, and changing lives in this place week after week, month after month and year after year.
When people ask, what is really going on in Christian Body Life Fellowship Church, they need look no further than our desire to be united in the cause of Jesus Christ as it is revealed in the word of God. We do not attempt to change the word of God to fit our desires. Our goal is to change ourselves to fit the plan and purposes of God. Our Christian legacy is important because it informs our present and becomes the guardrails that keep us on track for our future. It is a pleasure and honor to serve as your pastors these many years and we thank you for your patience and understanding as we've been on this journey, Let's keep our eyes on the prize of the high call of GOD in CHRIST JESUS.  We're determined to finish stronger than when we began by sharing CHRIST throughout our community in word and deed.
Love you All.
